Situated on a slight rise of ground in undulating countryside. The poorly preserved remains of an ivy-covered rectangular building (dims. 9m N-S; 18m E-W; wall T 0.9m) built with uncoursed red sandstone rubble. Only the N, S and E walls survive with the interior of the church inaccessible due to the presence of a burial vault and dense overgrowth. The graveyard (TN008-058002) enclosing the church contains eighteenth/nineteenth-century headstones. The Royal Visitation of 1615 described the building as a ' church and chancell well repayred' (Murphy 1914, 221).
