Situated on a SE-facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside with an enclosure site (TN008-051) to the N. Depicted as a large circular cropmark (c. 47m x 58m) on aerial photographs (GSIAP, S 559/8). Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
