What is recorded here

Situated on a natural hillock in undulating countryside. The poorly preserved remains of a rectangular church (TN007-028001) built with roughly coursed limestone rubble. Only the W gable survives intact with portions of the N and S walls along with the lower courses of the E wall. A possible door is located at the W end of the N wall with an ivy-covered single-light ogee-headed window in the W gable. A possible ecclesiastical enclosure (TN007-028002) is indicated by a townland boundary to the N of the church. The curving line is visible from the air (CUCAP, AVN 76) but is not visible at ground level. The enclosing graveyard (int. dims. 77m N-S; 85m E-W) contains eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth-century headstones with a nineteenth-century C of I place of worship in the E sector of the graveyard.
