Situated on a low rise of ground near the E shore of Lough Derg. A shallow depression (Wth 1.8m) is all that survives of Toberaughan. No enclosing element or votive offerings visible. Described in the Ordnance Survey Namebooks (1840) as a 'holy well so called but does not represent any matter worthy of remark'.
