Situated on a low rise of ground in undulating countryside. According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) 'Uppon the sd lands stands one good thatcht house a garden' and the proprietors of these lands are given as 'Richard Butler of Ballykinase[,]Stephen McEgan of Lisleigh[,]Awly O'Cleary & John Cleary of Ballykinasse Irish Papists' (Simington 1934, vol. 2, 325). No visible remains.
