Unable to visit the site identified on an aerial photograph (GSI M.442/3) due to location on an island in the middle of the river Shannon. Local farmer had no recollection of any possible enclosure or crannog in area marked on OS 6-inch map. Not included in inventory but retained in SMR/RMP until the site can be inspected further. Not marked on any edition OS 6-inch map.
