On the N shore of Derrymore Island, c. 70m to W of and similar to another possible crannog (SL047-009----). An oval area (8.1m N-S; 9.3m E-W; H 1.3m above the lake-bed), the surface of which is covered with low grass. The N part, nearest the lake, has a number of randomly sized, firmly set subangular stones (diam. c. 0.5m) exposed. The whole crannog slopes down towards the water and there is a small sandy beach on its W edge. A large limestone boulder sits in the water to the NNE. (Fredengren 2002, KILA 022)
