In stony pasture, on the summit of a ridge with views of Lough Gara. An oval area (int. diam. 30m N-S; 23.4m E-W) enclosed by a stone wall evident as a double concentric line (T 2.2m) of contiguous limestone boulders (int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.1-0.2m). A narrow field wall replaces the cashel wall along the NW and SW arcs. According to local information, much of the wall was removed c. 1939 and the stone used for road construction.
