In gently undulating pasture with good views. An upright sandstone slab (H 2m; 1.1m x 0.4m; long axis NNE-SSW), rectangular in cross-section and tapering slightly towards the top. A boulder (1.5m x 0.8m; H 0.5m) is embedded in the ground 1.8m to N. Another standing stone (SL044-057----) is c. 75m to NW in the adjoining field. They were recorded in 1836 as 'two standing stones near each other, both called Cloghmore of Doon.' (OSNB vol. 1, 435).
