In gently undulating pasture with good views. An upright sandstone slab (H 2.15m; 1.14m x 0.47m; long axis NNE-SSW) leaning to NW. The flat SE face and the gently convex NW face both taper towards the top. Another standing stone (SL044-058----) is c. 75m to SE in the adjoining field. They were recorded in 1836 as 'two standing stones near each other, both called Cloghmore of Doon.' (OSNB vol. 1, 435).
