In rocky pasture, on an E-facing slope. A circular flat-bottomed steep-sided depression (max. D 2m; diam. 2.2m) into which water seeps from the NW. A deep steep-sided outflow channel (D 1.4m; Wth top 2.9m, Wth base 0.2m) extends for 9m from the SE side of the depression terminating at a modern water trough. The outflow has been partially infilled and a pipe has been laid at the base to carry water to the trough. There is no evidence of any recent use.
