What is recorded here

Not included in the SMR (1989) but listed in the RMP (1995) and classified 'House Site'. Not shown on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. In rocky pasture, between two scarps. The remains of a rectangular stone-built structure (long axis NW-SE) with a door ope in the SW wall. It is divided internally into two rooms (SE room: int. dims. 2.2m NW-SE; 3.5m NE-SW; NW room: int. dims. 4.1m NE-SW; 1.55m NW-SE). The remains of a possible third room to NW are indicated by a straight section of wall (2.5m NW-SE) with a short return to NE. This is likely to be post-1700 AD in date.
