Listed in the SMR (1989) and classified as 'Pit(s). Not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. Its inclusion in the SMR is based on evidence from an aerial photogrpah (GSIAP, G 220-19). In rough upland pasture, in the Bricklieve Mountains and to the N of a rath (SL040-081001-). Upon inspection in 2001 a series of quarry pits, of various shapes (circular, subcircular, oval and irregular) and sizes (max. dim. 10-20m; D 0.5-1.5m) were identified.
