What is recorded here

In pasture, on top of a drumlin. A raised oval area (int. diam. 28.3m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by three concentric earthen banks with intervening fosses. Remains of stone facing is evident on the inner face of the inner bank (Wth 4.2m; int. H 1.1m; H 1.5m). The first intervening fosse measures 5.7m in width. The middle bank (Wth 2.1m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.5m) is incorporated into a field boundary system along the SW arc. The second intervening fosse measures 6.1m in width. The outer bank (Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.6m) survives along the E and S arcs. The entrance (Wth 4m) is at NE with a causeway across the fosses. The interior is uneven and slopes down to N. A NE-SW field boundary crosses the SE quadrant of the interior.
