In pasture, on a low broad drumlin. A raised circular area (int. diam. 25m N-S; 26.6m E-W) enclosed by three earthen banks with intervening fosses. The inner bank is low (Wth 2.9m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.2m), the middle bank is slightly higher (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.2m) while the outer bank is also low (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.6m). All three banks are covered with bushes and have numerous gaps. The two intervening fosses are 2.7m (innermost fosse) and 3m (outer fosse) wide respectively. The interior, which slopes down to E, is poached by cattle.
