In pasture, at the base of a W-facing slope bordering a broad flat expanse of bogland on the S side of a drain. A spread of heat-shattered stones and dark soil is evident for c. 6m in a low scarp on the S edge of the drain. A fulacht fia (SL038-140----) and a burnt spread (SL038-141----) lie c. 260m to S and c. 130m to S respectively.
