In pasture, on a low dry rise in otherwise boggy ground. A raised oval area (32.3m NNW-SSE; 19.3m WSW-ENE) enclosed by three earthen banks with intervening fosses. The inner bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.7m) is evident all round. The inner dry flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 5.8m) and middle bank (ext. H 0.75m) are evident NW-N, ENE-SW and the middle fosse (Wth 3.2m; D 0.55m) and external bank (Wth c. 3m; H c. 0.55m) are evident SE-SSW. The interior is raised c. 1m above the external ground level. Two other raths (SL038-071---- and SL038-073----) are c. 80m to NE and c. 150m to SW, respectively.
