In undulating pasture. The remains of a field system, underlying the present field system, are visible in an aerial photograph (IASAP, 3033062-3) as linear and curvilinear field boundaries. No complete field can be identified in the aerial photograph or on the ground but traces of low earthen banks (Wth 4m; H 0.4-0.6m) are visible at ground level. These consist of an arc of earthen bank (C c. 30m) on the S side of a modern E-W field boundary from which a similar but straight earthen bank extends in a SE direction for c. 100m. A branch of this extending to SW, visible in the aerial photograph, is not visible at ground level nor is a continuation of the arc in a northerly direction. This field system is possibly associated with a circular enclosure (SL038-016003-) c. 40m to W. A second field system (SL032-188004-) lies c. 1km to NW in the same townland.
