What is recorded here

In level pasture, on the W-facing slope of a ridge. A raised circular area (diam. c. 31.5m NW-SE; 33m NE-SW) defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H c. 1m) on the NE and SE arcs and by a scarp (H 1m) SE-N. A band of wet ground (Wth 2m) along the NW arc may indicate the line of the fosse. A NW-SE field boundary crosses the SW portion of the interior.
