In pasture, on a SE-facing slope just below the crest of a low rise. A roughly circular area (29m N-S; 26m E-W) terraced into the slope with the NW portion up to 0.75m below and the S and SE portions up to 1.1m above the external ground level. The interior is enclosed by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth 3.4m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 1.1m) S-E and by a scarp (H 1.05m) elsewhere. The bank is overgrown with hazel bushes. The interior is level and grass-covered.
