In the NW quadrant of an ecclesiastical enclosure (SL035-052004-), immediately inside the enclosing scarp at WNW and 50m WNW of Shancough church (SL035-052001-). The entrance is blocked by stone and earth but according to local information, the souterrain is stone-lined with a stone roof and c. 11m long extending in the direction of the church. A second souterrain (SL035-052002-) lies 31.5m NNE of the church.
