This is a large rectangular enclosure (int. dims. 62.7m x 38.9m) surrounding Shancough Church (SL035-052001-). Its enclosing element is a sod-covered stone wall (T 1.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.65m) with an inner and outer facing of limestone slabs. There is an entrance (Wth 2.4m) on the N side. A furnace bottom was noted in the W wall.
