What is recorded here

In rough, rush-grown upland pasture, located on the narrow top of a NW−SE ridge, close to the break of slope at the SE end. The sides of the ridge fall away steeply, overlooking a valley to E and Lough Arrow in the distance to W. There is a rath (SL034-145----) 100m to NW on the same ridge. This enclosure is not shown on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps. It is visible in aerial imagery. A very slightly raised, broadly oval area (27m NE−SW; 31m NW−SE) defined by a low scarp/undulation (H 0.45m). The interior is level and featureless, except for a small, low sod-covered stony heap (c. 2m across; H 0.3m) located close to the scarp at W. Notified to NMS by Andrew Goodison.
