In undulating pasture, on top of a ridge overlooking Lough Arrow to SW. A raised roughly circular area (int. diam. 27m x 23m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 1m; ext. H 2.2m) with an external fosse (Wth 2m). A trigonometrical station was indicated on the bank at SW on the 1838 OS 6-inch map.
