In forestry, on level ground on top of a ridge. A raised oval area (32m E-W; 42m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 1m). An E-W field boundary tops the scarp along the N arc. The line of an external fosse is indicated by a band of rushes (Wth 3m). The interior is cut by cultivation ridges and an E-W field boundary crosses the S half; the area to N of the field boundary is covered with mature trees.
