Discovered on Mr Andrew Walsh's farm, on the slope of a small knoll and investigated by Morris (1929, 99-115). It was described by the investigator as a single subrectangular chamber (L 34in [0.86m]; Wth 33in [0.84m] top, 24in [0.6m] base; D c. 20in [0.51m]; long axis NW-SE), the NE and SE sides of which were formed by single slabs, the other two sides of small boulders. A displaced capstone (T 7in [0.18m]) was broken at the time of the investigation. On the earthen floor of the cist were a crouched human adult female skeleton and a bowl food vessel. This short cist has not been precisely located. (Waddell 1970, 129; Waddell 1990, 133; Ó Ríordáin and Waddell 1993, 131)
