In pasture, on top of a ridge. A circular area (diam. 20m) defined along the S arc by an earthen bank evident as a low rise (Wth 4m; ext. H 0.8m). A band of rushes (Wth 3m) may indicate the line of a silted-up external fosse. The rath is visible in an aerial photograph (GSIAP, G 290-89) with a differential growth pattern indicating a bank on the S arc and an external fosse all round. There is another rath (SL027-142002-) in same field c. 50m to S.
