In a wet meadow, 120m N of the drained Tunnagh Lough and below the earlier shoreline. The lake is surrounded by drumlins which restrict views in all directions. A roughly circular platform-mound crannog (8.5m N-S; 7.5m E-W; H 0.5m). The surface is even and the site is quite distinct topographically but not in material. While there is not much surface material to confirm this as a crannog, a drain cut 4m S of it exposed a number of rounded stones and a brushwood and timber floor. Indicated as an oval islet at the NE end of the lake on the 1838 OS 6-inch map.
