In the S half of a rath (SL027-026001-), 3.4m from the edge of a scarp. The remains of a subrectangular structure (int. dims. 5.2m N-S; 6.4m E-W) with walls (Wth 2m; H 0.6m) of earth lined internally with stone. There is a possible entrance (Wth 1m) in the E side. A gap (Wth 3m) in the S side is probably due to erosion. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
