In rough grazing, on top of a high ridge. A circular area (diam. 31m) enclosed by an earthen bank and an external fosse. The bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.1m) has internal stone facing and many narrow gaps including one at SE (Wth 1m), now infilled with stones. The fosse is evident as a wide shallow depression (Wth 4m; D 0.3m) with a dense growth of rushes. The rushes also grow in the interior. There is a field boundary immediately to N.
