On the N edge of Ballynacarrow village, in waste ground wedged between the realigned main road and a lay-by. This possible rath is indicated on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as an embanked circular area (diam. c. 20m) and on the 1913 OS 6-inch map as a circular raised area truncated at E by a N-S field boundary. According to local information, the rath was partially levelled during the road realignment in the 1950s. Part of the S quadrant remains as a raised triangular area of waste ground but, due to overgrowth, it is very difficult to inspect. The area is defined SE-SW by a scarp (C c. 10m; H c. 0.8m). The NW side (L c. 20m) of the triangle is defined by the main road and the E side by a field boundary.
