On a rise, in undulating pasture. A circular platform (int. diam. 30m) enclosed on top by an inner earthen bank and at its base by a fosse and outer bank. The inner bank (Wth 6.5m; int. The fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.6m) is best evident along the E and N arcs and is waterlogged. The outer bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.3m) is evident all round but is most substantial along the E arc. The entrance (Wth 2.5m) is at E with a causeway and a ramp (Wth 3m) which curves in a northerly direction across the fosse to the exterior. Some trees and bushes grow on the external side of the inner bank and on the platform.
