Indicated on the 1913 OS 6-inch map at the S end of a rath (SL026-026001-). No remains of the well were positively identified though at the S terminal of the scarp of the rath, a large slab is visible in the scarp face and at the base of the scarp the ground is wet and boggy. This may be the remains of the well. In 1836 it was recorded that the 'patron day' of the parish is 1st of February, St Brigid's Day (OSL, 375). A penitential cairn (SL026-026004-) recorded by O'Rorke (1878, 241) in the immediate vicinity was not located.
