In undulating pasture, on a low rise. Indicated on the 1914 OS 6-inch map as roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) with a tree in the interior. The possible cashel is not visible at ground level. A cashel (SL025-042----), similarly indicated on the 1914 OS 6-inch map, lies c. 190m to NNW.
