In the SW quadrant of a rath (SL025-026001-). A rectangular area (6.4m NE-SW; 8.2m NW-SE) defined by low sod-covered wall footings (Wth 0.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.2m) on the SW, NW and NE sides but the area is open to SE. The interior is slightly sunken at the NW end. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
