In undulating pasture, near the foot of the Ox Mountains. The enclosure is levelled and not visible at ground level. Adjacent field boundaries also removed. Indicated on the 1913 OS 6-inch map as a roughly oval enclosure (c. 40m N-S; c. 35m E-W) bordered on the W and N by a trackway. Visible as an upstanding pentagonal enclosure in an aerial photograph (ACAP, V 197/160-1) with the SSW, SSE, W and E-facing sides linear and the N side slightly curved.
