In pasture, on a gentle N-facing slope. This rath is levelled and not visible at ground level. All adjacent field boundaries have also been removed. It was described in 1986 (SMR (1989) file), prior to land reclamation, as a high steep-sided circular earthen platform (diam. c. 25m N-S; H c. 5m) surrounded at base SSE-NW by a fosse and outer bank which contained some stone. The interior was largely covered with overgrowth.
