In pasture, on a high steep-sided hillock on a NE-facing slope at the foot of the Ox Mountains. An oval mound of earth and stone (c. 27m NW-SE; 19.5m NE-SW) defined by a steep scarp (H c. 1.4m at NNE; H c. 3.5m at SW). At SSE the scarp merges with the natural slope of the hillside, possibly marking the access point from the exterior. The hillock and mound have been planted with coniferous trees. A number of small holes have been dug into the side of the hillock and into the sides and the top of the mound.
