Situated at the end of a ridge which is steep in the N surrounded by undulating pasture with views onto the Dartry Mountains, Knocknarea and the Ox Mountains. Comprises a circular raised area (Diam c 23m) which is embanked and enclosed by a stone wall (Wth 0.50m, Max. H 1.50m). There is no fosse or entrance evident. The interior slopes from S-N with cultivation ridges present. There are a number of stones in the interior which may suggest a souterrain.
