Located on the N end of a narrow flat-topped hillock in drumlin pasture, overlooking Ballysadare Bay. This is an elongated oval area which encompasses the hilltop. It is enclosed by a ruinous stone wall (Wth 0.60m, H 0.30m) with a fosse ( Wth 6m, D 1.05m) and an external bank (Wth 2m, H 0.20m). The interior of the site slopes from the SW to the NE. There is an entrance in the NE (Wth 1.30m) with a curving ramp (L 29m). In the SW there is a souterrain (SL020-045002-).
