Located on a rise in flat to undulating ground with views over Ballysadare Bay and Knocknarea.
This is a bivallate ringfort. Comprises a circular raised area (int. diam. 27m) enclosed by an internal (Wth 5m, H 0.90m) and external bank (Wth 4.50m, H 0.90m) and a ditch (Wth 2m) on the external side of the external bank. There is no indication of a burial or midden (Wood-Martin 1887-8, 258).
