Timoney (1984, 322-3, no. 7) describes this as follows: ‘The total diameter of this barrow, sited on a glacial ridge, is 24m. The central area is 9m in diameter and is 80cm above the surrounding field. The central area is surrounded by a bank 2.90m wide and varies in height from 50cm to 75 cm. This is enclosed by a complete fosse, 2.60m wide, the bottom of which is 30cm below the surrounding field. The complete enclosing bank is 2.10m wide and 45cm high and it contains stones in its make-up. Burenhult (1980:1, 94) lists this as Structure 25, Knocknahur North, recte Breeoge. It is within Phosphate Field XIV Only very small increases of phosphate values were recorded (Burenhult 1980:1, 105).’
