In wet pasture, located on the floor of a narrow NE-SW valley. One of a series of fulachtaí fia and burnt mounds which occur over a distance of c. 1.5km along the flat-bottomed valley. This burnt mound comprises a low, D-shaped mound (c. 11m NE-SW; c. 9.6m NW-SE; H 0.85m at SE) whose straight side, at NW, is formed by a NE-SW drain which bisects the monument. On the opposite side of the drain is a low bank of upcast burnt mound material and beyond this is a surface spread (10m NE-SW; 4m NW-SE) of shattered sandstone and charcoal. A second burnt mound (SL019-210002-) occurs 10m to SW.
