What is recorded here

Situated on top of a steep N-facing slope overlooking Lough Doo c. 25m N. This potential monument, identified from an aerial photograph, has been leveled. Extant remains comprise a low ovoid rise (c. 45m NE-SW; c. 38m NW-SE) delimited by a poorly defined, broadly sloping scarp. At N the scarp merges with the steep natural slope and is marked by a low, sod-covered length of tumbled stone which may mark the remnants of a field wall. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 19 January 2011
