What is recorded here

The remains comprise a rectangular, single-storey house (13.65m E-W; 6m N-S; Wall T 0.6m) with high gable ends and two large butresses on the S wall. There is a doorway (Wth 0.95m) E of the centre in the S wall. There are two large windows to the W of the doorway and one to the E. Located W of the centre in the N wall is a massive fireplace flanked by large windows. There are smaller fireplaces in each of the gables. There are two small rooms at the E end of the house and a single larger room at W. There is a bawn (SL019-062002-) associated with a levelled castle (SL019:062001-) c. 25m SE. Compiled by: Patrick F.
