Not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. Identified from aerial photography. Situated at the N end of a small, narrow ridge in rolling pasture. Oval-shaped area (dims. 46.4m NNW-SSE; 37.8m E-W) defined from SW-N-E by a scarp (H 2m) incorporating the natural slope of the ridge. From SE-S-SW the defining element is a second, lower scarp (H 0.25m) with a very slightly raised internal rim. At its foot is a slight depression (Wth. c.4m) which may represent an infilled fosse. Original entrance not recognisable.
