Situated at the E side of a low rise in pasture. Raised subrectangular area (29.8m N-S; 25.2m E-W) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 2-3m; int. H 0.1- 0.2m; ext. H 0.55-0.6m) which from E-S has been modified and incorporated into a modern, although now-disused, NE-SW field boundary. Other, probably later features, include the rendering of the outer face of the bank with large stones at E and a short length of free-standing bank (Wth 0.8-1.1m; H 0.3m) at SE. A break (Wth. 2m) in the bank at NE may represent an original entrance. In the level W half of the interior is the remains of a possible house (SL018-044002-).
