What is recorded here

This is one of two adjacent cist graves found in Ballyogan townland (Waddell 1970, 128-129). This cist (1970, 128) is described as 'short rectangular; vase foodvessel and cremated bone'. The second cist (SL017-053002-) was discovered c. 1m away (1970, 129). Not precisely located. Waddell, J. (1970) JRSAI vol 100, p. 91-139 Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 19 January 2011

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
