Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope of a low ridge in poorly-drained pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 25m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.5m) which has been levelled at NE-E. At N the outer face of the bank has been partly incorporated into a modern field boundary. At S-W at a distance of 3m from the rath there is a substantial field bank which respects the curve of the rath. It may preserve the line of an original fosse and outer bank.
