Situated in lowlying, level pasture. Raised subrectangular area (35.5 N-S; 32.5m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 2.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.4m) with an external fosse (Wth 4m) which, although infilled, is clearly identifiable. At the outer edge of the infilled fosse at the W side is a second bank (Wth 5.3m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 0.9m). Ephemeral traces of this bank are also visible at the N side. At the outer foot of the outer bank at W is an approximately square raised area (dim. 5m) which is defined at N by fragmentary remains of a bank. Original entrance (Wth. 2m) was probably at E. Within the NE quadrant of the enclosed area is a low, narrow linear rise (L c. 9m) of unknown significance.
